AS A FRESHMAN (2007-08)
CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in the first three meets of the season, placing in the top-20 in two meets... More of a middle distance runner, she set personal records in the 5K (22:45.23 at Southern Miss Invitational on 9/7) and the 6K (26:11.91 at LSU Tiger Cross Country Festival on 9/22).

HIGH SCHOOL
Cross country team captain her senior year and three year letterwinner in track and field for coach Everett Whiteside... Regional qualifier in the 800-meter run in 2004 and 2005... Track and field - qualifier in the one mile and two mile runs in 2007, and district champion in the one mile run in 2007... All-area first team in 2005 and 2006... Cross country - fastest junior in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties in 2005, and fastest senior in the same counties in 2006... Also a four-year letterwinner in soccer, winning first team all area in 2006 and 2007... Was soccer team captain and team MVP her senior year.

PERSONAL
Born Caitlin Rosario Hornbeck on June 10, 1988, in Pensacola, Fla.... Daughter of Elena Hornbeck and Frank Wolcott... Carried a 4.7 weighted GPA and graduated 13th in her high school class of 385 students... Enjoys crowd surfing at concerts... plans to major in public health and become a physical therapist.
