2007: Redshirted first season at Tulane...served as bullpen catcher for all Green Wave home games...off the diamond, was a member of the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Tulane's 3.0 Club.

High School: Four-year letterman at East Ascension High for coach Jamie Morgan...helped lead the Spartans four straight district crowns and four trips to the state playoffs, including the 5A championship as a freshman and the 4A quarterfinals as a senior...hit .333 with a home run and 21 RBI in 2006, including a .444 mark and a flawless fielding percentage in District 7-4A play...claimed all-district and Class 4A academic all-state honors as a senior...off the diamond, was an honors graduate and a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.
