Tulane Football Practices for First Time since Evacuation in Birmingham The Tulane Green Wave football team continued preparations for its season opener against Alabama with its first practice in Birmingham this morning at Seibert Stadium on the campus of Samford University. Defense Dominates Scrimmage As Football Wraps Up Preseason The Green Wave defense posted six sacks among 15 tackles for loss, forced a fumble, picked off a pass and batted down two more as the Tulane University football team wrapped up preseason drills with a 77-play scrimmage Wednesday afternoon at the Westfeldt Practice Facility. Camp Toledo Concludes As Football Holds 24-Period Practice A final pass dropped from the sky, there was a collision of humanity and there came a great whistle from Tulane head football coach Bob Toledo announcing, it is done. And just like that, Camp Toledo 2008 came to a close as the Tulane University football team held a grueling 24-period practice Tuesday afternoon at the Westfeldt Practice Facility. Football Continues Working In Day 18 Of Preseason Practice The start of the school year is just two days away and the season-opening contest at Alabama looms just two weeks down the road, but the atmosphere around the Tulane University football team was simply to continue getting better as the Green Wave wrapped up the second-to-last day of preseason practice with a 24-period session Monday afternoon at the Westfeldt Practice Facility. Tulane Football Cruises Through 116-Play Scrimmage During Final Two-A-Day on Saturday The Tulane Green Wave football team completed its final two-a-day practice of fall camp with a 116-play scrimmage that was highlighted by TU's much improved aerial attack which rolled up 383 of the offenses' 494 total yards in front of an energetic and boisterous crowd at the Westfeldt Practice Facility on Saturday afternoon. |
