Women's Golf Inks Four Freshmen In Early Signing Period
With the Tulane University women's golf team slated to return to action for the 2008-09 academic year, the Green Wave signed state-side standouts Ashley McKenney, Samantha Troyanovich and Stephanie Wagstaff as well as Sweden native Daniela Holmqvist, head coach John Thomas Horton announced Wednesday on the first day of the Early Signing Period. 10/04/2007

The Tulane University Athletic Department will hold its Sixth Annual "Hullabaloo Homecoming" on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the James W. Wilson, Jr. Center, two days before the Green Wave football team hosts Conference USA foe Memphis for Homecoming 2007 at the Louisiana Superdome. 08/24/2007
Q&A with Head Women's Golf Coach John Thomas Horton
John Thomas Horton was named Tulane's head women's golf coach on July 4, 2007. Horton comes to Tulane from Georgia Southern where he served two years as an assistant coach for the Eagles' men's golf program. He inherits a program that advanced to five NCAA Regionals from 2000-05. In addition, the team advanced to the 2005 NCAA National Championships where the team finished 15th. The program was suspended in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in the fall of 2005, but will return for the 2008-09 campaign. 07/04/2007

With the Green Wave women's golf team slated to return to action for the 2008-09 academic year, Tulane University Director of Athletics Rick Dickson announced John Thomas Horton as the program's new head coach.
