Baseball Opener Postponed, DH Scheduled for Saturday at 1:00

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane baseball season opener and the dawn of the Travis Jewett era, will have to wait one more day. Friday night's season-opening game against Army was postponed due to inclement weather.

The Green Wave will play a doubleheader Saturday at 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. against Air Force. The Sunday weekend finale against Army will still be played at noon as scheduled. All three games will be played at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. One ticket (for either Friday or Saturday's originally scheduled game) will be honored for admission to both games of the doubleheader on Saturday, and the stadium will not be cleared between games.

The first game of Saturday's doubleheader will be broadcast on 88.3 FM WRBH and online at TulaneGreenWave.com. The second game will be an online-only video broadcast, through Tulane All Access. The live video stream for all three games this weekend is available for free.

Tulane was originally scheduled to play Army on Friday and Sunday, with a game against Air Force on Saturday.
