Green Wave Drops Matches at LSU Tennis Invitational

BATON ROUGE, La. - Tulane University dropped both of its matches at the LSU Invitational Friday. Sophomore Tatsuhiro Ishii (Nashville, Tenn.) and sophomore Goran Vasiljevic (Varmo, Switzerland) both fell in first round action in the tournament.
Ishii lost to South Florida's Eric Gilhorn, 6-1, 6-0, while Vasiljevic dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision to Jorge Escallon, also of South Florida.
Both will play in the consolation round Saturday.
Also in action will be Green Wave sophomore Michael Kogan (Kfar-Saba, Israel). Kogan will be competing in a bracket of national-ranked players. He is slated to play LSU's Bryan Fisher in the morning and will play South Florida's Paco Antelo in the afternoon.
