Kogan Advances to Semifinals at Southern Collegiates

ATHENS, Ga. - Tulane University's Michael Kogan (Kfar-Saba, Israel) continued his run at the Southern Collegiate Tennis Championships at the University of Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex, winning his fourth match of the weekend to advance to Monday's semifinals.
Kogan, an All-American last year in both singles and doubles, dispatched South Florida's Martin Wetzel in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3 on Sunday. He will face Brandon Wagner, from the host school Georgia. Kogan is the top seed in the tourney, while Wagner is No. 4. Wagner defeated Florida State's Xavier Luscan Sunday to advance.
The other semifinal will pit No. 2 seed Romain Ambert from Mississippi State against unseeded Bobby Reynolds from Vanderbilt.
The Championship match will also be played on Monday.
