Series Opener Against Pepperdine Postponed

NEW ORLEANS, La. - Friday's series opener between the Tulane University baseball team and the Pepperdine Waves has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Greater New Orleans Area.
The game, originally scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m., will be played as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 22 beginning at 2 p.m. The second game of the twin bill is slated to begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both contests are scheduled for nine innings.
Green Wave fans who already purchased tickets for Friday night's baseball contest against Pepperdine can still put their tickets to good use as the tickets will be good for admission to tonight's women's basketball game vs. Houston at 7 p.m. in Fogelman Arena. Friday's tickets can also be used for admission to Saturday's baseball doubleheader.
Following Saturday's doubleheader, Tulane and Pepperdine will close out the three-game series on Sunday with first pitch slated for 3:30 p.m. The original gametime was changed to allow Green Wave fans to catch the women's basketball home finale vs. TCU in Fogelman Arena at 1 p.m.
