March 31, 2003
Due to a water leak, the New Orleans Sewage and Water Board will be closing the portion of Willow Drive between McAlister Drive and Ben Weiner Drive effective March 31st, 2003. The street is expected to be closed for approximately two weeks. To avoid delays, baseball fans attending games at Turchin Stadium during this time are encouraged to enter the Tulane campus via Calhoun Street, turning right on Willow Drive before turning right again on Ben Weiner Drive to enter the parking garage. Please arrive a few minutes early to avoid missing the start of the game.
The only home game affected by the road repair should be the Tuesday, April 1 contest with UNO as the teams square off in the first game of the Popeyes Cup at 6:30 p.m. at Turchin Stadium. Tulane's next home game after April 1 is April 11 when Houston visits for a three-game set. For ticket information, please contact the Tulane Ticket Office at (504) 861-WAVE.
