Tulane fans, especially the young and the young-at-heart, will be treated to a special day of activities Sunday at Turchin Stadium as the Green Wave battle the UAB Blazers in the third game of a three-game Conference USA set. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Turchin Stadium and tickets are available at the gate or by calling 504-861-WAVe.
This Sunday's game is chock full of special Easter activities, in addition to the traditional "Kids Day" promotions held every home Sunday. The Easter Bunny will be in the ballpark to share his special holiday while post-game festivities include an Easter Egg hunt.
As with each Sunday game, prior to the first pitch kids will be invited onto the field to stand next to their favorite Tulane player during the National Anthem. The fun continues throughout the game with a series of Easter-related contests including a special bunny hop dance contest.
Following the game, all kids in attendance will be invited back onto the field to take part in the annual Easter Egg hunt in right field. Kids will race around the outfield and collect all of the Easter candy that they can grab. Following the Easter Egg Hunt, the kids can run the bases in Turchin Stadium.
So join the Green Wave baseball team for a special day of Easter fun at the ballpark this Sunday.
