Opening Comments...
"This was a good win for our program. To come on the road and win in an SEC environment for the first time since 1989, it has been a long time. To be able to do that is a tremendous tribute to those players."
About taking control of the game early...
"We were very disappointed in the game last weekend, not to say we could have one the game but the way we played last week was not very characteristic of the kind of game these boys can play. They had a lot of pride at stake. To go out there against a very physical football team, and to go toe to toe with them, is a good accomplishment for us. We might have surprised them a little bit coming out the way we did. If they watched the film of our game last week they didn't see the team that played today."
On coming out strong in the second half...
"We hit the big play to Gabe [Ratcliff] that really helped us. You know in games like this, there is going to be three or four plays that decide it and that was one of them. That went from being an interception to a big game in the blink of an eye. They make that play, it's a different ballgame. We made some plays that I thought made a difference in the end."
On the bobbled punt and Mississippi State's fourth quarter momentum...
"Well, I feel like when they put Omarr [Conner] in the game, that gave them a lot of momentum. When we bobbled the punt I don't know what we were thinking but that put them right back in the game. I thought we came right back. We had third-and-seven and Matt [Forte] broke one loose, and I thought that was a huge play in the game because they had all the momentum and the crowd was in to it."

Senior Wide Receiver
On how important the win is...
"We needed this win. We had nine straight loses, so we needed this big time. All the praise goes to God, and we went out there and played like we know we are capable of. Everyone followed their assignments, got out there played fast and played hard."
On offense...
"We went out and made all the plays we could. I feel like football is a game of momentum and in the beginning we had it."
#21 Jeremy Foreman
Senior Cornerback
On the defense's play throughout the game...
"The game's not over until the clock says zero. We've got to go out and play hard."
#25 Matt Forte
Junior Running back
On the 26-yard run...
"I got the first down and the hole just opened up so I could make the play. When the time comes you've got to make plays. Going into the game we knew that on third down they were going to try to push us back. We knew we were going to have to make big plays."
