On the final day of Camp Toledo 2008
"We tried to assess them pretty good. As far as conditioning goes, we wanted to make sure they're getting into game-type shape. We did a lot of drills - kickoff drills, different situation-type drills, we did a lot of formation-type situations where our defense had to line up in certain formations against our offense. Then we had a two-minute drill which stressed them pretty good, and then we ran them really good because we want them to be in good shape."
On the team practicing some trick plays on Tuesday
"Every game, we're going to have some special plays. But that's me. That's something we practiced and we'll run during the course of the year. Every game, we always have a special play or two."
On the difference in today's special teams drills compared to Monday
"It was unbelievably different. Yesterday, we did the drill and they didn't have any passion for it whatsoever. They didn't want to do it and we didn't do it very well. So I got on the coaches and the coaches got on the players. It was more organized and there was more effort today. That was a game-type situation and they did a good job."
On what is in store for the rest of the week
"Camp will be basically over tomorrow because that will be our last real scrimmage situation. We'll practice for an hour and then we'll scrimmage for an hour. That will be our last physical scrimmage-type practice. We'll still hit them and bang them and do some things, but as far as tackling and cutting guys, tomorrow will be the last one. Then we'll go to the Dome. It'll be kind of a game-plan situation. It'll be a mock game with substitutions and get used to being in the game. We'll have coaches in the press box and those type of things."
