Tulane Athletics Announces Staff Promotions, Additions

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair Troy Dannen announces recent promotions and staff additions in the athletics department.

Tony Margherio, who has been serving as the Associate Director, Marketing and Promotions since 2013, has been elevated to Director, Marketing and Promotions overseeing all aspects of marketing and promotions for Green Wave athletics. Margherio oversees four positions including two assistant directors and two graduate assistants, while serving as an integral cog on the external affairs team in the athletics department.

Jean-Preston Lucius, who has been a member of the Tulane athletics department since 2012, is now Director, Special Events and Letterwinners. Lucius is responsible for coordinating a number of special events throughout the year and assists with the management of the Green Wave's letterwinners association.

Staff additions include:

Tony Chiles - Director of Student-Athlete Development on the men's basketball staff. A New York City native, Chiles joins the Green Wave after serving on the coaching staffs at Manhattan, Iona, Drexel, St. John's and Fordham.

Anthony Conrath - Associate Director, Facilities and Event Management. Conrath comes to Tulane after serving as Assistant Director, Facilities Operations at UCF for the last year and a haldf.

Megan Conrath – Director of Baseball Operations. Conrath joins Tulane following a four-year stint in Orlando when she worked as Director of Athletics Compliance & Assistant Director of Events at UCF and as Manager, Business Development and Events at the Central Florida Sports Commission.

Eric Hollier – Associate Director, Strategic Communications. Hollier comes the Green Wave after spending nine years in the athletics communications department at Tulsa. At Tulane, he will serve as the primary contact for baseball and bowling and a secondary contact for football.

Sean Hollister – Director, Video & Broadcasting. Hollister joins Tulane after more than 10 years as the Director of Video Services at the Big 12 Conference office. He also spent time in video positons in the athletics departments at North Texas, Baylor, Arizona and Louisiana-Monroe.

Kyra Johnson – Program Coordinator, Development. Johnson comes to Tulane after spending time with the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Adam Miller – Associate Director, Strategic Communications. Miller joins the Green Wave after spending just over three years in the athletics communications department at East Carolina. At Tulane, he will serve as the primary contact for men's basketball and women's swimming & diving.

Cornell Sneed – Academic Counselor. Sneed comes to Tulane after working at Memphis the past two-plus years as an academic counselor and adjunct faculty member. He also spent time at King University and East Tennessee State.

Aubrie Warkentien - Program Coordinator, Men's Basketball. Warkentien comes to the Green Wave after assisting in the operations of the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and working for the Idaho Stampede and Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League.

Andrew Wingard – Account Manager, Athletics Ticket Sales. Wingard joins the ticket sales and services staff after serving in roles in the athletics department at Bowling Green, Western Kentucky and Texas Tech.

Galo Yepez – Director, Facilities and Event Management. Yepez comes over to the athletics department spending nearly 20 years working on the facilities services staff at the university.
