NEW ORLEANS – Eight former Tulane University student-athletes entered Week 8 of the National Football League's 100th season on a team roster. Listed below is a look back at each of their performances from Week 8 of the NFL season.
Dontrell Hilliard, Running Back, Cleveland Browns
Rod Teamer, Safety, Los Angeles Chargers
Tanzel Smart, Nose Tackle, Los Angeles Rams
Ryan Griffin, Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Ryan Grant, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers
Parry Nickerson, Defensive Back, Jacksonville Jaguars
Charles Jones, Tight End, Jacksonville Jaguars
John Leglue, Offensive Lineman, New Orleans Saints

Dontrell Hilliard, Running Back, Cleveland Browns
- Rushed one time for 10 yards and logged four catches for 24 yards in the Browns' loss to the New England Patriots.
- Returned two punts and two kickoffs for a total of 48 yards and made one tackle on special teams.
- The Browns will travel to play the Denver Broncos in Week 9.
Rod Teamer, Safety, Los Angeles Chargers
- Started at safety and made the first sack of his career for the Los Angeles Chargers.
- Made eight total tackles in the Chargers' win over Chicago Bears.
- Los Angeles will host the Green Bay Packers in Week 9.
Tanzel Smart, Nose Tackle, Los Angeles Rams
- Played 19 snaps off the bench in the win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
- The Rams will have a bye in Week 9.
Ryan Griffin, Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Did not see any action the Buccaneers loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 8.
- Tampa Bay will go to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in Week 9.
Ryan Grant, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers
- Not active for the Packers' win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.
- Green Bay will travel to Los Angeles to play the Chargers in Week 9.
Parry Nickerson, Defensive Back, Jacksonville Jaguars
- Not active for the win over the New York Jets in Week 8.
- Jacksonville will travel to London to play the Houston Texans in Week 9.
Charles Jones, Tight End, Jacksonville Jaguars
- On the practice squad for the Jaguars.
- The Jaguars beat the New York Jets in Week 8.
- Jacksonville will travel to London to play the Houston Texans in Week 9.
John Leglue, Offensive Lineman, New Orleans Saints
- Leglue is on the practice squad for the Saints.
- New Orleans defeated the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8.
- The Saints will have a bye in Week 9.
