Fan-Friendly Concessions Pricing Announced for 2019 Football Season
Aug 16, 2019 | Football, General
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Football fans attending home games at Yulman Stadium for the 2019 season will notice a reduction in food and beverage prices at many of the venue's concessions stands.
The new pricing gives fans the ability to purchase some of their favorite gameday snacks and drinks at a fan-friendly rate.
"The feedback we received through surveys our athletics department conducted with our fanbase made this plan a high priority," Tulane senior associate athletics director Chris Maitre said. "We are very excited to be able to offer better deals at the concessions stands that complement our lower ticket prices for the 2019 season."
Hot dogs, candy, peanuts and bottled water will be available for $2 each, while popcorn and select domestic draft beers will be offered at $3 each. Nachos will also cost $3 with various add-ons (salsa, chili, extra cheese) for just $1.
Locations for fan-friendly food pricing can be found in sections 119, 128 and 203 (Westfeldt), while concessions selling select draft beers are located behind sections 118, 124, 129 and 204 (Westfeldt).
Tulane opens the 2019 season on Thursday, August 29 at home against FIU with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The Green Wave are coming off a memorable 2018 campaign that was highlighted by a win in the AutoNation Cure Bowl and an American Athletic Conference West Division Co-Championship.
