Kuenkler Ranked #87 in ITA National Singles Rankings

NEW ORLEANS – With the fall season in the books for the Tulane University Men's Tennis team, Green Wave junior Fynn Kuenkler has been rated among the best singles players in the nation. Kuenkler ranked at No. 87 in the NCAA Division I Men's ITA Collegiate Tennis National Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point on Wednesday.
Kuenkler finished the 2022 fall season with a 6-5 record in singles helping him climb from an unranked position in the preseason to a spot in the Top 125 singles players. The Bielefeld, Germany, native earned a key victory during the ITA All-American Championships over Michael Zheng of Columbia who ranks No. 11 in the poll released Wednesday.
The Tulane junior ranked 12th in the ITA Southern Region singles rankings following the spring 2022 season. Kuenkler will look to build on the 18-10 overall mark in singles he posted last spring as he will enter the 2023 spring season ranked among the top 125 collegiate singles players in the nation.
