No. 17 Bowling Goes 2-3 on the Second Day of the Stormin’ Blue and White Classic

Day 2 - Stormin' Blue and White Classic
Las Vegas – The No. 17 nationally ranked Tulane University bowling team had a steady 2-3 record on the second day at the Stormin' Blue and White Classic at South Point Las Vegas on Monday in totaling 4,705 pins. The program currently stands in ninth place.
Tulane has a combined record of 5-5 in the first two days of competition with 9,652 pins and an average of 193.0 pins a game.
The program started the day with an 1,171-912 loss to Maryland Eastern Shore. The second game saw Tulane fall to Vanderbilt by a 1,0161-940 margin. The team picked up the first victory of the day with a 942-830 win over host institution Mount St. Mary's in the third game of the day. The fourth game was a 1,025-961 loss to Stephen F. Austin. The fifth game was a 950-801 victory over Daemen.
Amelia Vasquez was the highest finisher for the program in 13th place with 1,061 pins and her average of 212.0
Yarelis Alvarez was 35th with 960 pins and average of 192.0.
Morgan Gitlitz was 43rd with 925 pins and average of 185.0
Sofiia Druchyna placed 64th with 556 pins. She had an average of 185.33.
Mia Stolakis earned 66th place with 532 pins and average of 177.33.
Katharina Mente was 78th with 305 pins and her average of 152.50.
Jenica Baron finished 83rd with 196 pins in her one game.
Cassidy Williams placed 87th with 170 pins in her one game
Tulane finishes up the tournament on Tuesday morning with the best-of-seven baker matches beginning at 10 a.m.
