
Fetterman Ranked in Top 20 After Day 2 of Northeast Classic

NEW CASTLE – Tulane Bowling finished day two of their weekend tournament led by Emma Fetterman, who ended the day ranked 16th out of 270 competitors. She totaled an impressive 1,096 pins over five games and averaged 219.20 pins per game.Â
Paige Matiasek followed in 37th place with 1,041 pins and 208.20 per game.
The Green Wave ended their five-game slate with one win and four losses.Â
Tulane entered their day against No. 8 Sam Houston State University, who marginally triumphed 1074-1066. Paige Matiasek led the way for the Wave with a total of 267 points, closely followed by Emma Fetterman who downed 248. Cassidy Williams, Juanelyz Solla, and Nancy Kohut then put up 193, 180, and 178.Â
Tulane then leveraged a win over Adelphi University 1004-787 for their second game of the day. Matiasek led again, knocking down 235 pins. Fetterman then hit 213, while Solla followed with 202 and Williams with 200. Blanca Fraticelli rounded out the board with 154 to bring the Wave to victory. Â
The Wave then fell to Felician in the third 1086-852. Fetterman claimed the most pins with 209; Williams scored 188, Solla 157, Matiasek 150, and Kohut 148.Â
Tulane faced No. 2 Jacksonville State in the fourth game of the day, who overtook the Wave 1059-904. Matiasek was back in the lead with 223, but Fetterman closely followed with 214. Solla contributed 172, Williams gave 161, and Fraticelli wrapped with 134.Â
In their final game of the day, Tulane played Niagara University, who emerged with a 985-898 win over the Wave. For Tulane, Fetterman clinched another top score with 212 downed pins. Kohut reentered to provide 192 points to the team total, while Solla offered 175. Finally, Matiasek notched 166 and Williams gave 153 to end out the day.Â
Tulane ranks 29th, while the Univesity of Nebraska, Jacksonville State, and Youngstown have the lead.Â
Tomorrow, the Green Wave will face three best-of-seven Baker matches beginning at 8:25 a.m. ET.Â
