
Beach Volleyball Unveils Spring Season Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Beach Volleyball has officially announced its schedule for the 2025 season, featuring a dynamic mix of home and away tournaments. The Green Wave will host three home events while traveling to select competitions, including stops in Texas, Hawaii, and Florida.
2024 Conference USA Coach of the Year Eyal Zimet anticipates a productive and thrilling season.
"Following a solid fall training period, we are extremely excited to start our spring campaign together with this year's unique and formidable roster," Zimet said. "We can't wait to compete against some of the best teams in the nation in multiple locations and conditions. These scheduled challenges will forge our new 2025 squad together and build our strength as the season progress."
The Wave will open its 2025 slate with a preseason intersquad scrimmage on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the White Sands Beach Volleyball Complex, which will continue to be home to the Wave. An alumni round will take place in the afternoon. Tulane will host its first official tournament of the season, the Green Wave Invitational, from Feb. 21-22
The Wave then hits the road for the Longhorn Invitational, hosted by the University of Texas at Austin from Feb. 28-March 1. Next, Tulane will trade the Lone Star State for the Aloha State, competing in the Heineken Queen's Cup from March 6-8 at No. 11 University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
The Green Wave will return to Louisiana for the Sugar Beach Bash hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University from March 14-15. Tulane will wrap up the month of March with another home tournament, the Bayou Beach Duals, held March 21-22.
To serve off April, Tulane will travel to Pompano Beach to compete at No. 15 Florida International University from April 4 to 5.
On April 11th and 12th, the Wave will roll up to Baton Rouge to face No. 5 Louisiana State University in the Battle on the Bayou, the penultimate regular season tournament. The final tournament, the NOLA Classic, will be held at home April 18-19.
The Wave will return to Sugar Beach for the Conference-USA Championship from April 24-26. The NCAA Championship will be held May 2-4 on Alabama's Gulf Shores.

2024 REVIEW
Tulane ended the season as C-USA runner-up, with current players Tawny Ensign, Skylar Ensign, and Samantha Green being named to the Championship All-Tournament team. Tulane received 20 votes for the AVCA Final Collegiate Beach Poll and looks to end the 2025 season with an official ranking.
