Ticket Revenue goals are broken down into four major categories: football, men's basketball, baseball and women's athletics. Women's athletics encompasses women's basketball, volleyball and soccer, the three women's sports at Tulane for which tickets are sold. The goal for ticket revenue in each of these categories primarily reflects money raised through season ticket sales, as individual game ticket sales vary greatly from year to year based on scheduling. Revenue goals in each area represent a significant increase from current levels.
The ticket revenue goals are for ANNUAL, renewable ticket income. Ticket sales, in concert with annual giving, attendance and fiscal responsibility, are the prime factors in assessing the fiscal health of an athletics department.
