Tulane Athletics is centered around the 320 student-athletes who represent this great university. In the preceding pages we have told the story of how well they are doing as our ambassadors to alumni, fans and friends around the world, and how well they perform in the classroom and competitively. These young men and women are the reason we have embarked on the Perpetual Wave Campaign.
We have an obligation to our student-athletes, to the Board of Tulane who supported us in June 2003, to our colleagues at the university and to our friends in New Orleans and across the nation.
That obligation must be met by your financial support, through donations and the purchase of tickets, and I am confident that it will be met.
I look forward to hearing from you about Perpetual Wave and the goals for Tulane Athletics and for Tulane University.
