Deadline Approaching for Final Four Volunteers

NEW ORLEANS - The 2004 NCAA Women's Final Four is just weeks away and volunteers are still needed to fill important roles as New Orleans prepares to host the national semifinal and championship games of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship in the New Orleans Arena April 4 and 6.
The New Orleans Local Organizing Committee (NOLOC) still needs several hundred volunteers to perform such duties as: greeting fans at the Louis Armstrong International Airport; man information desks at local hotels; manage transportation operations; work interactive basketball games at Hoop City in the Louisiana Superdome; and staff other NCAA and NOLOC special events, including the NCAA YES Clinics and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Convention.
Opportunities to be involved in this unique and fun event begin as early as March 30 and run through the day of the final game April 6. Shifts are available at various times throughout the day and evening hours.
The deadline for volunteers to sign up to be a part of this special event is Monday, March 22.
