Tulane Fans Encouraged To Show Their Support With New Yard Signs

NEW ORLEANS, La. - In an effort increase grassroots community support in the New Orleans area, the Tulane Athletic Department announced that fans can pick up free yard signs that they can place in the front yards of their homes to show their support for the Green Wave. The signs display the "Think Green" campaign slogan as well as the Tulane Athletics logo and ticket office telephone number.
"We think that this is a wonderful opportunity for our fans to show their support of the Green Wave in their own neighborhoods," associate athletic director Scott Sidwell said. "We want our fans to help us spread the word about our program, and help us to kickoff our 2003-2004 season ticket campaign."
Fans can pick up their yard signs in person from the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The yard signs will also be on display at this weekend's HP Classic Golf Tournament at English Turn Country Club where the Tulane Athletics will have a booth.
