Tulane Athletics Fund Surpasses .5 Million Mark for 2002-03

A total of 1,880 donors contributed to the T.A.F. on the year, an increase of 18 percent from a year ago. In addition, the $1.50 million number is 37 percent higher than last year's final figures and marks the fourth straight year that donations to the Athletics Fund have increased.
"We're pleased with the 2003 final totals for the Tulane Athletics Fund and look forward to even more success next year," said Tulane Athletic Director Rick Dickson. "Our fans and supporters really stepped up to support our programs and student-athletes this year. With next year's goal for the Annual Fund even more ambitious, we're going to get an early start on 2004 in order to meet that goal."
The T.A.F. goal for 2003-04 is set at $2.3 million which is 62.5 percent above the 2003 goal and 53 percent more than the 2003 dollar amount raised.
