Tulane Athletics Holds A Helluva Hullabaloo

NEW ORLEANS - The James W. Wilson Center on Ben Weiner Drive will be the site of "A Helluva Hullabaloo" on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 7-10 p.m. as the Tulane Athletics Fund holds its annual fundraiser in conjunction with Homecoming Week on the Tulane University campus. Local restaurants will provide the food, both live and silent auctions will be held, and Tulane University coaches and staff will be on hand to visit with Green Wave fans and supporters.
The event is open to all and tickets are $50 per person. All proceeds from the event benefit the Tulane Athletics Fund, which is the principal fundraising arm of Tulane Athletics and supports all of Tulane's sport teams.
The "Hullabaloo" will feature an open bar and the cuisine of local restaurants like Trey Yuen, Smith & Wollensky, Dickie Brennan's Steak House, Maurice French Pastries, Zeke's, Zachary's, Gambino's, Ferro's Fine Foods, Five Happiness, PJ's Coffee and Tea, Albertson's, Charley G's, Messina's, LaBella's Catering, the Radisson of New Orleans, Robert's Fresh Market, and Cannon's.
Auction items up for grabs will include tickets to the Final Four, SEC Basketball Championships and C-USA Basketball Championships, hotel and casino packages, a trip with the 2003 Green Wave football team to the University of Texas, fishing trips with both Patrick Ramsey and Tim Floyd, and much, much more. A large selection of Tulane Athletics memorabilia, including signed items from Tulane's current Players in the Pros, will also be featured in the auction.
Tickets for the "Helluva Hullabaloo," are available by calling the Tulane Athletics Fund at 504-865-5356 or by stopping by the T.A.F. Office in the James W. Wilson Center on Ben Weiner Drive.
