Sudsbury Added to Tulane Media Relations Staff

NEW ORLEANS -- John Sudsbury, Sports Information Director at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Conn. for the last 20 months, has joined the Media Relations Staff at Tulane as Associate Media Relations Director.
Sudsbury will handle all media relations, publications production and home event management for the Green Wave men's basketball program while also working to publicize all 16 Tulane sports, and assisting in the updating and improvements of Tulane's newly-designed official athletics website, www.TulaneGreenWave.com.
Sudsbury has been the Director of Sports Information at the University of Hartford since February of 1999 where he has led the media relations efforts and overseen the operations of the entire sports information department. He served as Media Relations Coordinator for Vin Baker's Homecoming Weekend, an all-star game for NBA players, last spring.
Prior to going to Hartford, Sudsbury was the SID at Adelphi University in Garden City, N.J. for two years. He went to Adelphi after working for four years at his alma mater, the University of New Hampshire, as assistant SID and interim SID.
A 1993 graduate of New Hampshire, Sudsbury will begin his duties at Tulane on October 23.
