NEW ORLEANS, La. - Tulane University has announced its season ticket packages for the upcoming men's and women's basketball seasons. All ticket plans are available at the Tulane Ticket Office at the Wilson Athletic Center, Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:00 p.m. or by calling (504) 861-WAVE.
The men's basketball season ticket package includes 17 games, including 10 games at Fogelman Arena and seven at the New Orleans Arena, including the Nokia Sugar Bowl Classic Doubleheader. In the Sugar Bowl Classic, Tulane will open the evening against last year's national runner-up Florida at 7 p.m., followed by Louisiana State against Oregon State. Adult full-season ticket packages start at $212.
Several new ticket packages have been added to make Tulane Men's Basketball more convenient and affordable to all interested fans. New plans include: The Family Plan: two adult and two youth season tickets, The Big Fan Plan: a six-game package, The Weekend Family Plan: two adult and two youth seats for the five weekend games, and The Two Point Plan: tickets to the Louisville and Houston games.
Following last year's success with a trip to the NIT and a 20-win season, the men's basketball season will be exciting for all hoop fans as first-year head coach Shawn Finney arrives on the Tulane campus. Finney brings a new style filled with three-point shooting, full-court pressing, and non-stop action - the same style that Finney assisted with at Kentucky when the Wildcats won the National Championship in 1998.
All the action tips off with exhibition games at Fogelman Arena. The first exhibition is on Tuesday, Nov. 7, against Global Sports at 7 p.m. The final tune-up for the regular season is on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 12 Noon against Vasda. That game will be followed by Tulane's home football game against Navy, set to kick off at 5 p.m. in the Superdome.

Season tickets are also on sale for the upcoming women's basketball season as Tulane shoots for its seventh straight NCAA appearance and another Conference USA crown. This season marks the first time that reserved season tickets will be offered for Wave women's games. The women's package includes 14 Fogelman Arena contests, including the fifth year of the Tulane/DoubleTree Classic, which features William & Mary, Long Beach State, and Hartford. In addition, last year's national scoring leader Jackie Stiles leads a powerful Southwest Missouri State squad into Fogelman.
"The fan support has grown with our success and we're ready to take the next step. Our goal is to sell 500 season tickets for this year and build from there," says head coach Lisa Stockton. "I'm challenging our fans to make this commitment to the program and at the same time guarantee themselves the best seats for this season."
Reserved season tickets are $ 75 for adults and $ 40 for youth ages 18 and under. The schedule opens with an exhibition game against the Mississippi All-Stars on Nov. 2. The regular season opens with a Preseason WNIT match against Grambling on Nov. 10.
