Tulane Ticket Office Announces Holiday Schedule

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane Green Wave Athletics Ticket Office will be open during most of the next two weeks for fans interested in purchasing last-minute Tulane holiday gifts, basketball tickets or baseball season tickets. The Ticket Office and Green Wave Sports Shop, located in the James Wilson Center on Ben Weiner Drive, will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Monday, Tuesday and Friday, Dec. 22nd, 23rd and 26th and again the following week, Dec. 29th, 30th and January 2nd at the same hours. The Ticket Office will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31st-Jan. 1st, however, tickets are always available for purchase at www.TulaneGreenWave.com and at www.ticketmaster.com.
Single-game and tournament tickets for Green Wave basketball games over the holidays, including the women's basketball contest with LSU in the New Orleans Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 30th, are available, with the Tulane-LSU game tickets on sale for just $5 each. That game also features the popular local family entertainment group the Imagination Movers and will serve as a dress rehearsal game for the NCAA Women's Final Four. Tip off is at 7 p.m. in the Arena.
The women's basketball team will also play host to the annual DoubleTree Classic Dec. 27th and 28th. On Saturday, the Green Wave takes on Marist at 1 p.m., followed by a game between Yale and San Jose State at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, the consolation and championship games will be played at 1 and 3 p.m., respectively. Tickets to the DoubleTree Classic are $7 (adults) and $5 (youth) per day for reserved seats and $6 and $4 for general admission. Each day's ticket is good for both games that day.
The Green Wave men, meanwhile, play at LSU at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd before meeting Mississippi State in the first game of the Sugar Bowl doubleheader Saturday, Dec. 27th at 3:30 p.m. in the New Orleans Arena. Tickets for the Tulane-Mississippi State game, which is the first half of a doubleheader also featuring LSU and UAB, are available at www.ticketmaster.com. Both games will be heard on WTIX-AM 690 while the Sugar Bowl contest will be televised on Fox Sports South. Tickets for the Wave's game in Fogelman Arena versus Nicholls State on Dec. 31st at 2 p.m. are available for $16 (side court) and $10 (end court) in advance and $18 and $12 on game day.
Baseball season tickets, meanwhile, are on sale now beginning at $150 for an adult general admission ticket to all 35 home games while reserved season tickets are $200 for adults. Youth general admission tickets are $75 and several discount packages are available beginning at $60.
