Career Notes: Four-year letterman had 96 tackles (69 solo, 27 assists), 2.5 tackles for loss, 20 pass break-ups, three interceptions and one forced fumble on defense, running three times for 25 yards (8.3 avg) on offense and returning 36 kickoffs for 720 yards (20.0 avg) on special teams for his career...played in 45 games with 25 starts...signed a free-agent contract with the Denver Broncos at the conclusion of his college career.

2011: Started all 12 games he played in as a junior...led the team in pass break-ups (10) while ranking seventh with 42 tackles (27 solo, 15 assists) and tied for 11th in tackles for loss (1.0)...finished tied for 11th in Conference USA in pass break-ups per game (0.83)...had a season-high nine tackles (3 solo, 6 assists) with a half tackle for loss and a pair of pass break-ups at East Carolina (10/29)...posted eight tackles (6 solo, 2 assists) and a pair of pass break-ups vs Southeastern Louisiana (9/3)...defended a career-best three passes to go with four stops (3 solo, 1 assist) and a half tackle for loss at SMU (11/5)...also had four-tackle outings at Army (10/1) and vs Houston (11/10).
2010: Saw action in all 12 games as a sophomore...led the team in kickoff returns (28) and return yardage (573) while posting eight tackles (7 solo, 1 assist) on defense and one carry for eight yards on offense...ranked 12th in Conference USA in kickoff return yards per game (20.5)...posted career highs with seven kickoff returns for 158 yards with a personal-best 33-yard return vs Rice (11/13)...added four kickoff returns for 80 and 60 yards vs UCF (10/20) and at Marshall (11/27), respectively...had two-tackle performances vs SMU (10/30) and UCF, including his first career tackle for loss against the Knights...offensive carry came at Rutgers (10/2).
2009: Played in eight games at wide receiver as a true freshman...finished tied for fourth in kickoff returns (8) and fifth in kickoff return yards (147)... did not catch a pass but ran twice for 17 yards...had a career-high four kickoff returns for 67 yards vs Houston (10/17)...tallied a career-long 23-yard kickoff return and scored first career touchdown on a 32-yard end-around vs Marshall (10/10).
High School: Four-year letterman at Karr High where he played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back for coach Jabbar Juluke...named two-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com...helped the Cougars win back-to-back District 10-4A titles and advance to the second round of the state playoffs in each of his final two prep seasons...as a senior, hauled in 43 passes for 880 yards and 17 touchdowns, and also returned a kickoff for a score en route to claiming honorable-mention all-state, first-team All-District 10-4A and first-team all-metro honors...off the field, was a member of the National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars and the National Honor Roll...tabbed all-district and won the Coaches Award as a junior...also lettered once in basketball and four years in track and field where he helped the team win a pair of state titles and was Regional 3-4A MVP...earned Karr[apos]s Leadership Award and was a McDonald[apos]s A+ Athlete of the Year.
