Ben Moortgat began his tenure with Tulane University in 2021. In his current capacity, Moortgat serves as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Green Wave.
Moortgat hails from Brussels, Belgium and is a graduate of Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer, earning a bachelor’s degree from the institution in 2015. Moortgat also earned a master’s from the University of Central Arkansas in 2018.
Prior to arriving on campus in 2021, Moortgat served as the Head of Strength and Conditioning at Northwest Mississippi CC from 2020-2021.
Moortgat also spent time as the Football Strength and Conditioning Intern at both The University of Oregon 2019-2020 and The University of Georgia.
