2020 All-American Athletic Conference Preseason Team

2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in 37 games with 23 starts at designated hitter, first base and outfield…hit .347 with 35 hits, seven doubles, four home runs, one triple, 19 RBI and 20 runs scored…slugged .554, drew 11 walks and finished with a .412 on-base percentage…American Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week (5/14)…Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week (5/14)…hit a 2-run single vs. Cal State Fullerton (3/2)…went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI and two runs vs. CSF (3/4)…earned his first career hit (double) in his first career start at Ole Miss (2/25)…went 2-for-3 and scored a run at UNO (3/6)…walked and scored a run vs. Southern Miss (3/14)…hit two RBI doubles and scored a run at USF (3/31)…went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs as a late game replacement in Tulane’s 10-run comeback win over Houston (4/13)…went 3-for-5 with an RBI double and stole a base at Southern Miss (5/1)…hit three home runs vs. Memphis (5/12) – tied a school record…hit .667 (8-for-12) w/four homers, five RBI and three walks in series vs. Memphis (5/11-13)…went 3-for-6 with an RBI triple and three runs at UCF (5/18; G1)…put together an eight-game streak with two or more hits from May 6-22…was named to the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for fall 2017 and spring 2018.
2017 (Freshman): Played in two games, both at first base…made his college debut vs. West Virginia (3/5) and notched three putouts…made an appearance vs. Columbia (3/17)… off the field, was named to the 2016-17 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team and the Tulane Athletics 3.0 Club for fall 2016 and spring 2017.
High School: A three-year letterman at Metairie Park Country Day School in Metairie … played infield for the Cajuns … hit .494 as a senior and was named Times-Picayune Player of the Week on two occasions … two-time First Team All-Louisiana honoree for his efforts in his junior and senior campaigns … also received honorable mention his sophomore year … also named First Team All-District as well as New Orleans First Team All-Metro by NOLA.com his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Has one sister … father, Tommy, graduated from Tulane in 1984, served as an assistant baseball coach, and was inducted into the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 … major is communication.
