High School: A three-year letterman at Metairie Park Country Day School in Metairie … played infield for the Cajuns … hit .494 as a senior and was named Times-Picayune Player of the Week on two occasions … two-time First Team All-Louisiana honoree for his efforts in his junior and senior campaigns … also received honorable mention his sophomore year … also named First Team All-District as well as New Orleans First Team All-Metro by NOLA.com his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Has one sister … father, Tommy, graduated from Tulane in 1984, served as an assistant baseball coach, and was inducted into the Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006 … major is communication.
