2000 AT GEORGIA TECH: Lettered for one year for the Yellow Jackets, helping the team to a 9-3 record in 2000.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 1999 graduate of Harrison High School, where he lettered in football for four years. Also a four-year letterwinner in track and a two-year member of the basketball team. Earned high school All-America honors and was named one of the top five cornerbacks in the state of Georgia. Also collected all-state and all-county honors. Rated as the No. 12 defensive back in the nation by Prep Sports. Had nine interceptions as a senior, including a pair of 100-yard interception returns. Placed third in the state in the 100-meter dash.
PERSONAL: Winfred K. Brown. Born March 7, 1981 in Alabama. The son of Debra and Winfred B. Brown. Older brother, Vincent Huff, played football for Albany. Majoring in organizational information technology with a minor in business studies.
