Green Wave Grille
Located on the first floor of Yulman Stadium, the Green Wave Grille is purpose-built to provide Tulane’s college athletes and campus community with the nutrition they need to dominate on the field and in the classroom.
Opened in 2018, this 14,811 square foot buffet-style dining facility is operated by Tulane Hospitality and includes a full-sized kitchen and prep area, salad bar stocked with fresh produce, and large seating areas to grab a meal with teammates. Students and student-athletes alike can enjoy fresh cuts from the Grille’s carving station, or request something custom with the Made-To-Order area. For athletes looking for nutrition on the go, the Grille offers an exclusive fueling station stocked with nutrient-dense grab-and-go items, perfect for pre-workout energy and post-workout fuel.
The Green Wave Grille’s menus, which carry a focus on elite-level performance nutrition, were developed by Chef Michael Chapoy and Tulane Hospitality’s team of expert dietitians, including a board-certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. This credential allows the team to translate complex sports science into evidence-based menus and educational resources that support the specific dietary needs of competitive athletes.
