CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The Tulane women's golf team is in 14th place after the first two rounds of the Franklin Trust /Tar Heel Invitational with a team score of 637.
Leading the Wave is Kathy Schafer who has a combined score of 153 through two rounds of competition. She is tied for 23rd. She shot a 78, six over par, in today's round.
Duke leads the pack with a score of 585 and is followed by the University of Tennessee (602). The University of Georgia rounds out the top three with a team score of 610.
The final round will begin on Sunday with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. The tournament is being played at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, NC. Finley is a par-72 6,181 yard course.
