BRADENTON, Fla. -
The Tulane women's golf team is in fourth place with a two round total of 609 in the Waterlefe Invitational hosted by the University of South Florida in Monday.
Northwestern is in first place with team score of 595, a 19 over par performance. Host school South Florida follows one stroke behind, while Campbell rounds out the top three with a total team score of 598.
The individual leader is Florida International's Michelle Simpson who is even after two rounds.
The Tulane leader is Marcela Gonzalez who posted a ninth place finish. She shot one under par in the second round for a 149 performance. Kathy Schafer is the second Green Wave in the top-20. Schafer shot six over par and is tied for 11th. Carolin Landmann posted a two round total of 155 for a 23rd place finish through two rounds.
The third and final round of the Waterlefe Invitational begins at 7:00 a.m. (CST) on Tuesday, March 20.
