Tulane Finishes Fourth

BRADENTON, Fla. - The Tulane women?s golf team posted a fourth place finished with a team score of 922 at the USF/Waterlefe Invitational on Tuesday.
There was no change from Monday's top-3 team standings as Northwestern held on to the top spot with a 32 over par (896) team performance. Host school South Florida followed with a team score of 903 and Campbell rounded out the top trio with a 916 total team score.
Michelle Simpson of Florida International claimed the individual title with a third round total of 219, just three over par.
All five of the Tulane golfers finished in the top-35. Kathy Schafer and Carolin Landmann were the Wave's top finishers, as they each posted a three round score of 232, 16 over par, for a tie in 22. This is the second consecutive tournament that Schafer been the top finisher for the Green Wave. Senior co-captain Bonnie Hanlin tied for 27 as she posted a 234.
Up next for the Green Wave golf team is the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on March 30 in Athens, Ga.
