A three-year veteran of the Tulane University women's golf team, Pia Alamaki is one of two seniors that have helped the Green Wave to one of the best seasons in the program's history. After stepping away from the game during the 2000-01 season in an attempt to complete a double degree in finance and history, Alamaki rejoined the squad this season and has helped the team win the Green Wave Women's Golf Classic, while finishing second at the Waterlefe/USF Invitational and third at the Baylor-Tapatio Springs Shootout and the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate. She has appeared in five tournaments during her Tulane career, and has performed admirably in the classroom as well where she twice earned Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition.
