Tulane Alumni to Host Tailgate at Mississippi State

NEW ORLEANS - All Tulane fans and alumni are invited to join the Tulane Alumni Association in Starkville, Miss. for the 2004 Green Wave Football season opener versus the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 4. Beginning at 3 p.m., the TAA is hosting a pre-game Tailgate Party, and the Alumni Association also has game tickets in the Tulane section. Admission to the Tailgate Party is $15 for adults with children under 10 free. Attendees will enjoy bar-b-que'd pork and chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, cookies, iced tea and bottled water while plenty of Tulane door prizes will be awarded. Game tickets are available for $30 each. Tickets to the game and/or the Tailgate Party must be purchased by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Tulane Alumni Association (toll-free) at 1-877-4-TULANE. The Tailgate Party will be held at the Tulane tent on the Intramural Field on Stone Street between Davis-Wade Stadium and Blackjack Road.
