Tulane Athletics celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of its home on Thursday, March 30. The James W. Wilson Center was inundated with three feet of water and mud in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, but the first floor has been restored and re-opened to the public for the first time Thursday night at the free reception.
During the Re-Opening, fans were invited to tour the refurbished first floor areas, including the Strength & Conditioning Center, Athletics Training Room, Football Locker Room and Academic Services Area, while interacting with Tulane coaches and staff, including athletic director Rick Dickson and baseball coach Rick Jones.
In addition, the Tulane Athletics Ticket Office is now open for business and the re-stocked Green Wave Sports Shop has new merchandise available for purchase.
