TU Varsity Reports For Fall Preseason Workouts

New Orleans - The 2006 Tulane Green Wave football team is assembled and ready to hit the gridiron on Friday, as TU's varsity reported to campus on Thursday and joined the freshmen for the fall preseason camp.
Tulane's upperclassmen reported early in the afternoon and underwent a variety of preseason prerequisites, including video head shots, physicals, equipment fitting, moving into housing, compliance and academic meetings and finally a team gathering late in the evening. TU's 2006 squad consists of 87 players entering the fall campaign.
On Friday, the freshmen will get their first taste of collegiate football when they join the varsity on the field for a 4:00 p.m. practice at the Westfeldt Facility.
Tulane opens the 2006 season at Conference USA foe Houston on Saturday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. in Houston, Texas.
