111 Tulane Student-Athletes Receive Conference USA Academic Honors

New Orleans - A total of 111 Tulane University student-athletes have been named 2006-07 Conference USA All-Academic award winners, including 13 student-athletes on the Commissioner's Academic Medal List and 98 were selected the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Tulane's 13 medalists were among a total of 321 conference student-athletes that earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal during the 2006-07 academic year. The medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. The total number of academic medal recipients increased by more than 30 percent this season.
The Green Wave's 98 members of the conference honor roll were among a total of 1,773 student-athletes that earned recognition to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2006-07 academic year. Student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
