Tulane Athletics Spring Tour Rolls into Cut Off on Thursday
Apr 18, 2008 | General
Tulane coaches in attendance at the Cut Off event will be head football coach Bob Toledo, head men's basketball coach Dave Dickerson, head women's volleyball coach Liz Kritza, head women's golf coach J.T. Horton, head women's tennis coach Terri Sisk, assistant head football coach/offensive coordinator Dan Dodd, assistant women's basketball coach Alan Frey and TU Director of Athletics Rick Dickson, as well as other TU athletic administrators.
Thursday's event is the fifth stop in the seven city tour this spring. Last week, the TU caravan visited Monroe, the North Shore in Mandeville and Gulfport, Miss. This past Wednesday, the Green Wave caravan spent the evening in Lafayettte at Café Vermilionville.
The remaining stops will be in Chicago, Ill. (May 9) and Atlanta, Ga. (May 10).
"The Spring Tour is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Tulane Athletics in the various communities where Tulanians have historically supported us," Dickson said. "Additionally, it is a significant part of our annual TAF drive for which this year's goal is $2.5 million. With our history with this Tour in state, we have also added stops in many out-of-state cities (Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Gulfport) where there is great support for Tulane. This is the best avenue for people to support all of our student-athlete's and programs."
