What year did you graduate? December 2008

2. What is your current profession? I've had the unique opportunity to remain with Tulane Athletics as a marketing/game operations assistant as I pursue my Master's of Public Health in Global Health Management. This summer, however, I will begin working as a Public Health professional in Mali, West Africa, in microfinancing with women's groups.
3. What is your fondest memory of your athletic career at Tulane? All of the ridiculous pre-game actitivies we would do to get ourselves pumped up before games. Including, but not limited to: singing, break-dancing, and visualizations while listening to "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve.
4. Do you still keep in contact with your former teammates? Absolutely! I live and work with one of them now -- All-American (Honorable Mention) Jen Linder, holler!
5. What advice would you give to the current student athletes? Give yourself 100% to your team and your sport, but don't limit your Tulane experience to athletics alone. Get involved in the Tulane community by joining clubs, get involved in the New Orleans community by volunteering with programs like Habitat for Humanity, and seek out travel and independent research that Tulane will help you fund. There are so many opportunities and resources waiting for you at this school -- use them!
6. Do you still play your sport? Almost everyday, thank you Coconut Beach.
7. Which student athlete, past or present, would you have liked to have had on your team? And Why? Lacey Vicknair Momic, because girlfriend likes to talk a lot of smack which would've been extra motivation in practice!
8. Who is your favorite all time Tulane student athlete? Ashley Bernards, of course! She was a 2-sport athlete (track and volleyball) and STILL managed to make a 3.999999 GPA. She rocks.
9. Who was the toughest opponent you faced? Sinisa Momic, our assistant coach at the time and now head coach at Tulane, during practices. He had some "old school" Croatian moves he would throw at us. It was frustrating, but definitely made us better every day.
10. What is your fondest memory of Tulane / New Orleans? Being able to share the excitement of graduation with both my friends and my family. It was such an electric commencement; having Ellen as the speaker, being surrounded by my teammates and my "civilian" friends, and then looking up to the stands to where my parents held a giant poster with my name and face on it! It could not have been a better environment walking across that stage to receive my Tulane diploma.
