• Saturday's game marked the 19th meeting between Tulane and Army on the gridiron. Army's victory evened the series at 9-9-1.
• RB Orleans Darkwa's 67-yard rush on the first drive of the game was his longest of his career, surpassing his career-long of 33 yards last season. Darkwa capped that drive with a 3-yard touchdown run, his fourth of the season and the 15th of his career.
• Darkwa's rushing numbersof 138 yards on 16 carries give the sophomore over 100 yards for the first time this season and the sixth game of his career. His last 100-plus yard game was vs. UCF Nov. 20 of last season when he collected 129 yards on 20 carries.
• Freshman LB Matthew Bailey collected a career-high 10 Tackles in the game. It is his first double digit tackles game of his career.
• SS Sam Scofield, a freshman, received the first start of his career. He recorded a career-high 10 tackles in the game.
• LB Steven Funderburk, who entered the game with five tackles on the season, finished with a career-high seven stops.
• Four Tulane players extended their double-digit starting streaks on Saturday at Duke - junior DT Austen Jacks (17), junior LB Trent Mackey (17), junior safety Shakiel Smith (17) and junior cornerback Ryan Travis (17).
• Tulane captains for Saturday's ballgame were permanent team captains junior QB Ryan Griffin and senior DT Cedric Wilson, along with game captains DE Dezman Moses and DT Julius Warmsley.
