
Football Sees Five Former Players Invited to NFL Rookie Minicamps

New Orleans – Following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft, Tulane's football team saw five of the program's former players invited to NFL Rookie Minicamps.
KC Eziomume (Chicago Bears), Derrick Graham (Tennessee Titans), Kameron Hamilton (New Orleans Saints), Johnny Pascuzzi (Kansas City Chiefs), and Jake Retzlaff all have been invited to an NFL Rookie Minicamp. Eziomume officially signed with the Bears while Graham, Hamilton, Pascuzzi, and Retzlaff all were invited to camp.

KC Eziomume, Defensive Back
Tulane Career/2025: Played in seven games and recorded a pass breakup in his only season as a member of the Green Wave…Ended his collegiate career having played for Tulane (2025), Albany (2024), and Alabama A&M (2020-23)…Played in 40 career games and recorded 80 tackles, a tackle for loss, 17 pass breakups.
Derrick Graham, Offensive Line
Tulane Career: Played in and started the last two seasons, a total of 27 games, at left tackle at Tulane…A 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Selection…Ended his college career having played for Tulane (2024-25) and Troy (2020-23)…Played in a total of 64 games (37 Troy and 27 Tulane) in his collegiate career.
2025: Played and started 13 games at left tackle… Helped the offense rank in the top 10 nationally in sack allowed per game (6th - 0.77) and tackles for loss allowed per game (7th - 3.69)…The Green Wave offense averaging 4.5 yards per carry on the ground with 2318 rushing yards…The passing game sported an average of 245.1 yards a contest with an impressive 13.09 yards per completion….The offense scored 20+ points in 12 games including seven contests with 30+. … A 2025 First Team American All-Conference selection
Kameron Hamilton, Defensive Line
Tulane Career: A four-year player at Tulane that appeared in 54 games while recording 90 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and 12 sacks.
2025: Played and started all 14 games on the defensive line…Totaled 29 tackles, four stops for loss, three pass breakups, and three sacks.
Johnny Pascuzzi, Tight End
Tulane Career/2025: Played in all 14 games as a member of the Green Wave…Recorded 12 receptions for 158 yards and a touchdown…Ended his collegiate career having played for Tulane (2025) and Iowa (2022-24)…Played in 36 career games while recording 14 catches for 199 yards and a touchdown… A 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Selection.
Jake Retzlaff, Quarterback
Tulane Career/2025: Played at Tulane in 2025 after transferring from BYU (2023-24)…Ended the season leading the team in passing (3,168 yards) and rushing (634 yards)…Set a new school record for a quarterback with 16 rushing touchdowns…Became the first non-running back to lead Tulane in rushing since 2019….The 3,168 yards passing places him third all-time at Tulane in single season… Played and started all 14 games at quarterback going 242-for-391 passing with 15 passing touchdowns with a 61.9 completion percentage and a quarterback efficiency of 139.0…Earned seven weekly awards from the American Conference….Played in 31 career games Division I games, going 518-for-884 for 6,763 yards and 38 passing touchdowns….Also had 280 rushing attempts for 1,167 yards and 25 rushing scores

The Green Wave finished the 2025 season ranked No. 18 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Polls. This marked only the second time in four seasons, the third since 1998, and the fourth since 1970 that the program has finished a season nationally ranked.
Tulane won the American Conference Championship, securing its second conference title in four years. With an 11-3 record, it earned its first-ever playoff appearance in school history against Ole Miss. Notably, Tulane became the first team from Louisiana to make the College Football Playoff (CFP) in the 12-team format, qualifying as the fourth-highest ranked conference champion.
The 2025 season featured 11 wins in 14 games, including two victories over Power 4 opponents—the first time since 1988. The win over North Texas (34-21) secured Tulane's second conference title in four years.
The team earned 13 All-Conference selections, including the Special Teams Player of the Year. The team's returning All-Conference players for the 2026 season includes Jack Tchienchou (safety – 1st team), TJ Smith (return specialists – 3rd team), and Jason Arredondo (designated snapper –3rd team)
