Overall thoughts on the meet
"I'm a little disappointed in the results. Our times were good in most events, and great in a few events. But, what's more important than times is being able to race and win regardless of how fast or slow you feel. This is something that our upperclassmen have learned, but it's a tough adjustment for some of our younger athletes."
On having points taken away as a result of the relay disqualifications
"Our relays were outstanding. The DQs weren't ideal, but they did not affect the outcome of the meet. It's a great learning experience to know where our weaknesses lie early in the season."
On the performance of Rachel Ranson, who swam despite suffering from mononucleosis
"Rachel had a great meet, especially on only two days of highly-modified practice. I would have liked to have her swim the 200 free today, but we don't want to push her too hard and risk losing another few weeks of training."
On the upcoming meet at Alabama
"We've got a lot of work to do before heading out to Tuscaloosa, but we're consistently improving and I'm really happy with that."
