Dear Green Wave Fans,
This past weekend, we watched the student-athletes from the class of 2012 walk across the stage and receive their diplomas from Tulane University. There is always such a sense of pride and accomplishment. Please join me in congratulating them and wishing them all of the luck in the future.
We also have some post-season action this week. Track & Field is sending four athletes to the NCAA regional at the University of North Florida. Tulane baseball secured the 3rd seed in the conference tournament and will open the tournament Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in Pearl, MS. Women's Golf just got home from their fourth straight trip to the NCAA regionals. What a great run that team has had, and we look forward to great things in the future as well.
There has also been more news on the football stadium front. We continue to work closely with the city and the neighbors to ensure that this project is moving forward. In conjunction with the Mayor's office, we have announced a series of community forums to further describe plans and incorporate neighborhood input. Please visit www.TulaneStadium.com Finally, I'm so excited to announce that today we launched our 3rd Annual Helluva Hullabaloo Spring Auction, featuring over 80 incredible items and experiences. Each year, the items just get more and more impressive.
This is a wonderful way to provide scholarship support to your Green Wave student-athletes by bidding on some of the terrific items available through our online auction. There is something for everyone! Examples include rounds of golf at some of the most prestigious courses nationwide, one-on-one experiences with Tulane coaches, VIP tickets and experiences to sporting events around the country and internationally, the opportunity to dine with famous actors, and the opportunity to attend some of the best shows and concerts around.
