Dear Green Wave Fans,
Welcome to Homecoming week! After graduation, this is without question, my favorite week of the year. We induct a truly remarkable class into our Hall of Fame Thursday, we host our amazing 12th Annual Helluva Hullabaloo Auction on Friday, and the weekend culminates with a 2:30 p.m. kickoff Saturday for Homecoming vs. North Texas ... our final Homecoming in the Dome. Your team has won two of the past three games on the road, and is sitting at 3-2 on the young season and is excited to play in front of a big Homecoming crowd.
To update you all on the progress of Yulman Stadium and seating plans for next year:
- We have surpassed 80% of sales in the Medallion Circle of the Jill H. and Avram A. Glazer Family Club. Following our plan, we are now releasing sales for the Shield Society in the club. Shield Society seats surround the Medallion Circle, and benefits include a private entrance, exclusive use of the climate-controlled club space, plush seating, on-campus parking, and an all-inclusive hospitality package.
- Our second offering of Glazer Family Club seats, the Shield Society requires a $10,000 per year commitment for five consecutive years, with half of the gift going towards construction costs. Every donor to the Glazer Family Club is personally helping us build this stadium. To make your reservation for a private showing of the Glazer Family Club Sales Center, please contact (504) 314-CLUB (2582) or email stadium@tulane.edu. Make sure to check out the newly updated www.YulmanStadium.com for a 360-degree view from the seats. Only the Glazer Family Club views are active, but as the remainder of the stadium goes on sale, those sections will also have this feature.
- Ever since we announced this project, people have asked how they can be guaranteed a seat. Those who purchased season tickets for the 2013 season are all guaranteed the same amount of seats in Yulman Stadium. For those who are not yet season ticket holders (or season ticket holders who want additional tickets), we will begin taking reservations on Thursday, October, 4 at 10 a.m., online at www.YulmanStadium.com or by calling the ticket office at (504) 861-WAVE (9283). You can reserve your seat for $50 per seat (which will be applied to the season ticket price). We will be in touch with you with more information once we get into the new year on locations and further details. While some seats do have an annual gift component, there are thousands of seats that do not. Outside of the club seats, fans will be seated in order by the Loyalty Points program. In the upcoming weeks we'll be sending everyone their point totals.
