153 Tulane Student-Athletes Earn Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll Honors

IRVING, Texas -Tulane University placed 153 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced on Thursday, April 10.
A record 3,213 student-athletes across Conference USA earned the honors this year. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better to be named to the list.
Tulane's track and field and cross country program led the way for the Greenies with 41 of their members - 30 women and 11 men - making the list. The football team placed 28 on the list, and the women's swimming and diving program was right behind them with 23. Tulane's baseball team had 17 of their members on the team, while indoor volleyball placed nine on the list. Women's tennis (seven), men's tennis (six), women's basketball (six), women's bowling (five), sand volleyball (four), men's basketball (four) and women's golf (three) rounded out the list of Green Wave student-athletes earning the honors.
On Friday, the Academic Medal award winners will be announced by the conference. The Academic Medal is given to those Conference USA student-athletes who have achieved a 3.75 grand point average or better.
