Prep: Competed on the national and international circuits due to her high school not sponsoring track and field...is the Puerto Rico Youth & Junior National Record Holder in the javelin...in 2010, claimed a sixth place finish at the Inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore... claimed Gold at the Central American Youth Athletics Championship in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2010...was a three-time Puerto Rico Youth/Junior National Champion...won the Silver medal at Puerto Rico's Senior National Championship in 2010 and 2011...claimed the Bronze medal at the Senior International Championships in Cali Columbia during the 2011 season...in 2011, she earned the "Best International Performance" designation from the Puerto Rico Track and Field Association... was the National Athlete of the Year in 2011...finished seventh at the World Youth Championships in Lille, France in 2011...earned the Silver medal at the Central American Scholar Games in Puebla, Mexico in 2009...also lettered in volleyball and basketball.
